We haven’t met. I have never seen you in real life, I have never held you in my hand yet, I have never played you. But that is going to change. Because I ordered 2 copies of you for my Hanjo Masters 5 Cube. You are perfect for that cube.
In my Masters cubes I have 3 copies of each common, 2 copies of each uncommon and 1 copy of each rare. They are designed to give the players the old Modern Masters feel while drafting. There is a strong Elemental theme in that cube, and it’s amazing. You could draft a RG aggro elemental deck, a RUG elemental deck, a 5 color elemental deck. Playing 5 color elementals feels like living the dream when casting a Horde of Notions. I love that I can offer that dream to my players.
You offer so many dreams to me. I dream of evoking a Walker of the Grove with you in play. 5 mana for two 4/4 bodies, sounds amazing to me. You know why? Because before you came along Walker of the Grove was one of the worst cards in the cube. A regular last pick, only made maindecks as a 24’th card. I have always refused to cut that card, because I have always liked it. But now there is you, and you change all of that. You are going to let my players dream about Walker of the Grove, and you are going to let me dream about it. And for that, I love you, and I can’t wait to meet you.
