I remember. I remember those days where you were a Vintage Cube staple. I loved those days and I loved you in that cube. With that cube I’m mostly talking about my friend Tim his Vintage Cube we used to play a lot when we were young. 

There were so many fun things to do with you after trading. Bouncing you with Man-o’-War. Or even better, bouncing you with Tradewind Rider, again. And again. And again. Exiling you with Parralax Wave to steal even more. My personal favourite is exiling you with Venser, the Sojourner because: “Exile target permanent you own”. Again and again. 

You seem quite fair. I love cards that seem quite fair, and then surprise surprise, can be completely abused. Drafting these synergies and playing them is so much fun. Unfortunately you have been lost to Vintage Cube for a long time now and quite frankly, that makes me sad. Because you should become better with the power creep. The better the creatures you can steal, the worse the deal is the opponent is getting out of the trade. And creatures have gotten a whole lot stronger over the years. 

I hope you get reprinted into Standard. Because these days they only add flashy new cards to the MTGO and Arena Vintage Cube’s that look unfair, but in the end turn out to be quite fair and therefore not good enough. And I think we need some more of those cards that on the surface, seem just fair.
