I know, I know, I know. Everyone has been high on you since you have been printed. You and your brother and sisters have taken Pauper by storm. Also in the world of Cube your cycle is a perfect budget option for a versatile and fun mana base. Last week I decided it was time for me to order 8 copies of you and your brothers and sisters. I’ve been really motivated to update all these Masters Cubes and I just knew I was going to a couple of copies of you all. The first Cube I’m definitely going to run you guys is my Masters #4 Cube. You guys are too perfect there. Let me elaborate.
Tri-color fixing:
In this Cube I choose to only support the 5 enemy dual- and tri-colors. So preferably I need tri-color fixing, because Ultimatums do ask something from a manabase. You fit way better than just a cycle of 5 enemy common tapped duals.
Deserts:
This Cube is an ode to my draft at the 2017 Dutch National Championships, where I drafted a Black and Green deck. In that deck I played Ifnir Deadlands and I really enjoyed the whole desert theme in Amonkhet block so I support these here. Because sacrificing Deserts is a theme in this Cube, I run cards like Crucible of Worlds and Ramunap Excavator. Having some extra lands that can come back from the graveyard is just a perfect fit.
Cycling:
There is a big cycling theme in this Cube, connecting with the Desert cycling lands like Desert of the Fervent. You guys fit perfectly into this theme.
Because I wanted to run Lorescale Coatl, Galvanoth (with those Ultimatums) and 6 copies of Squadron Hawk in this Cube I run a whole bunch of Brainstorm effects:
Fetchlands make Brainstorm effects so much more potent. You are a perfect addition to this set of cards.
Since I have 19 Cubes I don’t update all of them all that often. I’ve got 6 Masters Cubes and every once in a while I do a deep dive into one of them. Lately I’ve been really feeling like updating all of them and I’m so happy when I find these perfect new additions to a Cube like yourself, Bountiful Landscape. You are such a perfect fit, make this Cube so much better, create so much more awesome gameplay. I love it.
