You are in 3 of my Cubes. I play you in my lower powerlevel Cubes Mich Masters and Duplicate Sealed Cube, where you are amazing. You are a true powerhouse in both: your flexibility with the dash makes you a true menace to deal with. But both those Cubes aren’t the places I love you the most. I love you the most in my Alles-2 Cube, my cost reduction emblem Cube.
It’s hard to explain. Someone has to experience you with a one mana Dash cost. Like, actually casting you for 2 mana is also really strong. I love creatures that can control combat, that can give agro a real boost, and you do that. But you do it best when you are Dashed in during those combat steps when you are needed most. You protect yourself from sorcery speed removal, like Wrath of God effects. But still I feel like I’m failing at explaining how fucking cool you are with a Dash cost of just one mana. Really, people should experience it. Me and my friends value you very highly highly in this Cube. You are very, very first pickable.
But the best thing about you, is combining you for some sweet synergies. Triggering Fae Offering each turn. Triggering Primeval Bounty each turn. But your best one, the one I had the other night in my 3-0 awesome, so awesome, UR Prowess deck, was triggering Dour Port-Mage every turn. All that while dominating combat.
